I betcha you can take one guess as to who got Colin dressed this morning. Hmmmm.....

Colin's Ride.
Colin loves his bike! I pushed him up and down our street before bed tonight. I love the way he holds onto the handles and puts his little feet up while he's riding, all while saying "wheeeeee". He tries to do it himself, but can only go backwards for now.

Daddy and Me.
So, here are Colin and his Daddy before bedtime tonight. These two are buddies. And if your eyes are being drawn from the cuteness to our barren and sandy backyard, Kevin has some big plans to change that. By summer, Colin's bare little feet will be running through some cool, lush grass. Hopefully...

Sunny Sunday.
The Tracy's had a pretty nice Sunday!
It was another gorgeous day outside. Kevin got to go golfing with some of his work buddies, so Colin and I headed to the park and met some friends there. We took a walk, looked at the ducks in the lake, and did some swinging. Our friend was nice enough to snap a few pics of us, unbeknownst to me.
Then, another new friend of mine asked if I wanted to go with her to the free Daughtry concert that he was giving on base. Sure, why not!
So when Daddy came home from golfing, he took over Colin duties and I met her there. It was pretty nice, because not only were we entertained by some good music on a nice night, but she had lived in Buffalo for 2 years! We had fun chatting about Buffalo sports (and tailgating adventures), chicken wings, pizza, and WEGMANS! I think I've found another girl who shares my passion for a good grocery store.

Colin, meet Mr. Duck

Monthly photo shoot.
Colin was 11 months old on the 4th! As you can see, I'm a bit behind on posting. Maybe it's because I'm delaying the inevitable that our baby will be ONE in only a month. I just can't believe it.
His nose is runny and he is drooling in this pic, but I guess we'll take what we can get.
Here is what Colin is doing at 11 months old:
-He has 3 teeth on top, 2 on the bottom.
-Says a few new things: "hi" "baby" and "hot". When he sees a ball he says "ba" and sometimes dog is "da". This is all totally random of course. But he will NOT say Mama.
-If you ask, he can show you on your face where your eyes, nose, mouth and hair is.
-Is cruising while holding on to something, but is still pretty wobbly. We are in no rush to have him walk.
-Does hi-five
-Loves finding airplanes in the sky. He always looks up when he hears one, and when he spots it, he gets excited. I guess his Daddy is in the right profession.
-We haven't had him weighed in a while, but I suspect he is about 23 pounds.
So, here is our big 11 month old boy. This is the last of our monthly photo shoots, and then maybe we can make it a yearly photo shoot. I am having visions of 18-year-old-Colin sitting on his airplane blanket with his bear. Ha! It was very difficult to take these 11 month pictures, since our boy is quite squirmy. But I love how the first picture showcases his luscious leg. Or as our neighbor calls his legs, "juicy". Kev thinks we should use better adjectives, like "powerful".

He literally doesn't stop moving. I was trying to distract him, so maybe he would stay still, so here he is showing me where his bear's nose is.
And then he did this and laughed. And then that was the end of our shoot because he took off.
We love you, Colin Patrick. But stop growing so fast.

Colin's first Easter.
We had a good Easter!
The day started out with Colin finding what the Easter Bunny left him at the bottom of the stairs. Then we went to a nice (but very crowded and hot) Easter mass...and the patient little boy sat through all 1.5 hours of it. The couple next to us even commented on how good he was. I can't promise it will always be that way, especially when he starts walking, but we'll take it for now!
Then we kept up with the Tracy-Easter-tradition and headed to buy some mulch and flowers so we could work on the front flower bed (if you remember, this is what we spent all day doing last year). It was much better for me this time, since I'm not 8 months pregnant. We worked the rest of the day outside. Colin even played in the dirt, which warranted an early bath for him. Lets hope our flowers grow and bloom!
We ended our day with Easter dinner. The ham, scalloped potatos, green bean casserole and rolls were delish. All in all, we had a great day, although we missed our family.
Happy Easter everyone!
