We got Colin's hair cut on Mother's Day!
Now, this was a pretty big deal since he had such a luscious head of silky blonde hair- and a lot of it. Some people said it was like spun gold. My cousin Mark said he had "nice flow". BUT, the haircut was totally necessary because I cut his bangs straight across a few days before, since they were getting in his eyes, and he had a total mullet.
Hairdresser: Are we keeping a lock of his hair, Mom?
Me: Umm, yeah...this is going to sound totally bizzare...but all of my family wants a lock of his hair, so can we keep all of it?
Hairdresser: (smirking) Um, Sure.
Colin did great! He was all smiles and sat perfectly still (despite the little boy next to us screaming his head off during his first haircut). Colin also enjoyed his blue lollipop.
